About Jake Donnelly

Sports broadcaster, specializing in play by play. Have called every sport under the sun with the exception of cricket, rugby, and kabaddi, but I wouldn't mind giving all three of those a try. The only promise I give you is if you tune in to one of my broadcast, for however long you do so, you'll enjoy life during that period of time. These blogs are my way of sharing with the world my passionate (and hopefully articulate) responses to the sports world and the world in general. I do not mean to offend anybody with these blogs, but if you're offended, hey, contact me and I'm always up for a discussion or debate.

The Temper Tantrum Nation of Spoiled American Children

The Founding of the Temper Tantrum Nation "Editor-at-Large" at "The Post Millenial," Andy Ngo, recently posted a clip of the Portland Police telling Antifa rioters to clear an area. At the end of the clip, the police officer blaring out the warnings bluntly states, "stop throwing objects or this gathering will be declared an unlawful [...]

Tuukka Rask Opting Out Was Selfless, not Selfish

Tuukka Rask Opting Out Was Best for the Team While it is easier to make the case following the Boston Bruins' 3-1 victory in Game Three to take a 2-1 series lead over the Carolina Hurricanes, Tuukka Rask opting out was a selfless act, not a selfish one. Many people are debating the merits of [...]

Thanks, Obama! Your Terrible Policies Are Leading to Peace in the Middle East Thanks, Obama! Seriously. Thanks, Obama. Your utterly terrible perspective on international relations in the Middle East is directly responsible for bringing Israel and the Arab world together. Thanks, Obama! But here is the thing, you could not have done this by yourself. [...]

Sports are a Unifier, Not a Divider

Sports are a Unifier, Which is Why Politics in Sports is so Troublesome Sports are not supposed to be political. Yes, there are times when sports get political, and there are even times when sports must get political, but when you constantly inject politics into sports you are doing a disservice to the nation. Sports are [...]

The Message or the Messenger; What is More Important?

When did the Message Become Less Important Than the Messenger? Something strange has occurred in recent months; progress has completely stopped in the name of progressivism. There was once a time in the United States--thanks to the preaching of people like Martin Luther King, Jr.--where people started to care less about the immutable characteristics of [...]

NBA Equality is Not Equality for All

Why NBA Equality Stops at the Bottom Line When you hear equality, you think people getting equal treatment no matter who they are. You think that because it is right in the word. Equality. What’s a Minority or the Problematic New-Age Definition of Racism

What's a Minority? Or the Problematic New-Age Definition of Racism When it comes to Jewish issues in general, and specifically in America, there is an obvious Jewish double standard. The Jewish double standard is simple; Jews--because of their history as a persecuted minority--will speak out against evils and atrocities committed against everyone, but when it [...]

The Jewish Double Standard

When it Comes to Speaking Out Against Hate There is a Clear Jewish Double Standard The Jewish double standard was on display this past week in the wake of DeSean Jackson and Stephen Jackson’s social media posts promoting Louis Farrakhan and erroneously quoting Adolf Hitler. While it appears many people were rightfully taken aback by [...]
